Impossible Is Nothing

Impossible Is Nothing

Impossible is nothing to God! Impossible is nothing. Nothing.

It is a question of our perspective once again. Do we choose to focus on our problems or lift our gaze up to God? Do we try to fix things on our own or do we invite God Almighty into the middle of our messful lives? We don’t need to fix our lives before we can approach him. God accepts us as we are and delights in helping us out. God enjoys being in the middle of our hazzles. God enjoys bringing peace into our lives. Just too often we think something is impossible and don’t even ask God to help out.

“God can do anything, you know —far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.” (Eph. 3:20, MSG)

God can really do anything! Far more than you could ever imagine in your wildest dreams! That really is something! Too often we underestimate God and try to bring him into our level of imcompetence. God can do anything! Alleluia! God even does it without pushing us around but by working within us, the Holy Spirit softly changing us and gently working within us.

“Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!”
(Eph. 3:21, MSG)

As human beings we are bound to five senses but we need to let God be God and work wonders in our lives. I love this encouraging quote: “When God intends to make something wonderful he begins with a difficulty. When he intends to make something very wonderful, he begins with an impossibility.”(Former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Coggan)

Impossible is nothing to God. It’s a starting point for something very wonderful. Go God!

Gracious God,
Thank you for being amazing, sovereign, allmighty!
Thank you for being God!
Help us to trust you with everything.
Help us to focus on you.
Help us to believe in you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
