Jesus Saves

Melodic Monday is back to the basics: Jesus Saves by Jeremy Camp! Hope is indeed here: Jesus saves. Our life starts when we realize that because of Jesus we have a ready-made path back to God. We just need to cry out for help and forgiveness; God will be there to give us life and more life. Then joy is indeed here: The Holy Spirit lives in us. Let’s all join with heaven’s song: Jesus saves!

Hope is here
Shout the news to everyone
It’s a new day peace has come
Jesus saves
Mercy triumphs at the cross
Love has come to rescue us
Jesus saves.

Hope is here
What a joyful noise we’ll make
As we join with heaven’s song…

To let all the world know that Jesus saves.
Raise a shout
To let all the world know that Jesus saves.

Free at last
Every debt has been repaid
Broken hearts can be remade
Jesus saves
See above the storms of life
See it through the darkest nights
Jesus saves

Free at last
What a joyful noise we’ll make
And we join with heaven’s song…

We’ll sing it out

He’ll save, He’ll heal, restore, reveal
The father’s heart to us
He rose to raise us from the grave
His spirit lives in us…

Sing it out
Shout it out!
Sing it out!

Sing it out and shout
’till the whole world knows his name
Jesus…sing it and shout
for we will know your name

Gracious God,
Thank you for Jesus!
Thank you for providing us a way back to you.
Forgive us, save us, renew us!
Live in us & reveal your heart to us!
Enable us to find our voice to shout out
about the joy of your salvation
until the whole world knows you!
In Jesus’ name,

Q4U: What is your way to share the Good News of Jesus Christ?

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you find your voice to join in sharing the joy of salvation!

  1. Very useful write-up! Makes complete common sense. And thus appeared to be easy to understand as well.

  2. Anonymous, thank you for your comment! God bless you!

Can men living in the 21st century steal the thief’s plan of salvation and be saved? No they cannot. The thief was the one and only person saved by his plan.

What did the thief do to be saved?

    1. The thief obviously believed that Jesus was the Christ.(Luke 23:39)
    2. The thief feared God.(Luke 23:40)
    3. The thief asked Jesus to remember him when He came into His kingdom.(Like 23:42)

THAT WAS THE THIEF’S PLAN OF SALVATION! Yes he was saved (Luke 23:43)

What was not in the thief’s plan of salvation?
    1. The thief did not believe in his heart that Jesus was raised from the dead by God the Father.(Romans 10:9 that if you confess with they mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead , you will be saved;) The thief could not believe that God raised Jesus from the dead; because Jesus was sill alive when the he was saved.

    2. The thief was not baptized for the forgiveness of sins. (Acts 2:38)

    3. The thief could not be baptized in water in order to be saved. (Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21)

THE THIEF DIED UNDER THE OLD COVENANT AND GOT A DIRECT PARDON FROM JESUS. Men living today can only be save by the terms of pardon under the New Covenant.
The terms of pardon are: FAITH John 3:16—REPENTANCE Acts 2:38—CONFESSION Romans 10:9-10—WATER BAPTISM Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16.
