Nothing Is Impossible with God!

Nothing Is Impossible with God!

Do you remember the Rubiks’s cube? Or “magic cube” as they also called it? Did you ever solve it? It felt it was impossible to solve it. Just like the problems we face in every day life, they seem impossible. But that’s just how they look from our perspective. We can’t see in the future. We don’t know how things are interconnected. We don’t have magic powers. Still we are not to give up!

Angel Gabriel told Mary: “And did you know that your cousin Elizabeth conceived a son, old as she is? Everyone called her barren, and here she is six months pregnant! Nothing, you see, is impossible with God.” (Luke 1: 36-38, MSG)

Our God is in miracle business. Nothing is impossible with God. We are bound to our five senses but God is not. We might be able to solve a 3-D puzzle but God can do so much more and in so many more dimensions. We can’t comprehend all that but that’s okay. All we need to know is that what God says, goes. What God has promised to us, it will happen.

Our troubles, in-capabilities, puzzles, helplessness, barrenness are nothing to God. Yet God calls us to work with him. It’s our willingness God wants. It’s our trust God wants. It’s our heart God wants. He takes care of the rest.

God has created the world and planned the salvation story from the beginning to the end. We have a privilege to study God’s word to see how this all has been, is happening and will be happening. We are invited to live in this hope, to live by faith not by sight. Things are not what they might first look like. God has no limitations. God is God. And he loves us. He wants to shower us with his blessings and guide us home. We can trust Jesus when he says:

“Don’t let this throw you. You trust God, don’t you? Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father’s home. If that weren’t so, would I have told you that I’m on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I’m on my way to get your room ready, I’ll come back and get you so you can live where I live. And you already know the road I’m taking.” (John 14: 1-4, MSG)

Gracious God,
Give us faith to trust you.
Give us hope to hang on.
Give us love to share
they joy of salvation.
May your will happen in our lives,
miracles and all.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: What keeps you from giving up?
