Weekend Prayer Wall [Nov.19-20}

Let us pray, and as we pray, let us make room for Jesus in our hearts. ~D.L. Moody

If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, adrift at sea, keeping all your options open. (James 1:5-8, MSG)

Thanks be to thee, my Lord Jesus Christ,
For all the benefits thou hast won for me,
For all the pains and insults thou hast borne for me.

O most merciful Redeemer, Friend, and Brother,
May I know thee more clearly,
Love thee more dearly,
And follow thee more nearly:
For ever and ever.

–St. Richard Chichester (1197-1253)

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those
who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.

[For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
] Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let’s pray in Jesus’ name!

Now it’s time for you to jump in with your prayers/prayer requests in the comment section.  Let’s also pray for each other! Someone will pray for you/with you. 1. Dear God,
I praise you for your loving-kindness!
    You are so marvelous!
Thank you for your grace, your tender, loving care.
I want to surrender all my life, all my work to you.
May Thy will happen in everything.
Open the right doors and keep the wrong ones shut.
    Thank you for everything.
I pray for all the people who are coming to this site this weekend.
May they experience your strong presence and clear guidance.
Take personally care of each of them.
    Thank you!
    In Jesus’ name,

  2. Lord, I just want to give you praise! You are the only almighty God! I pray that you will bring healing, peace, comfort, love to those you know need your touch today. As we enter Thanksgiving week, may we truly be thankful for your loving grace and all the blessings you’ve given us! Thank you Jesus! In your precious name I pray, amen

  3. Father God, please comfort those who will have an empty chair at their table this Thanksgiving. Many are grieving the loss of a loved one and will be spending the holidays without them for the first time. Hold those left behind close to You, let them feel Your sweet presence in the midst of their loss.

As parents grieve the loss of a child, give them the peaceful assurance of knowing their child is in Your loving arms.

Also, Father God, there are many people who will be alone, or separated from family and friends, for different reasons. This is a sad and lonely time of year for many, whose hopelessness overshadows their thankfulness.

May Your tender mercies abound toward all the broken hearted, and mend them as only You can.

Thank You Father God, for hearing and answering these prayers. In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

  4. Father God, I come before you this morning to just say thank You. Lord, thank You for Mari-Anna and how she opens up her arms every weekend to receive other people’s prayers. In Christ Jesus Name, Amen.

How good it is to praise you!
Thank you for loving us &
providing us the way back to you.
Thank you for giving us the Bible.
    Keep us Christ-centered,
    firmly rooted in you.
    Fill us with your Spirit!
Strengthen us for your service so that
you’d be glorified in us and through us.
May your will happen in everything
we do, say, think, plan, and share.
    Be praised forever and ever!
    Hallelujah!
    In Jesus’ name,
    Amen

  6. Dear God,
I pray for all the children.
Enable us to share You with them.
May your fire kindle in their hearts.
    Become real to them, Lord.
Give them wisdom to seek you.
    Let them find you.
Show them that you are real and
    that you truly answer prayers.
May You become #1 in their lives.
    In Jesus’ name,
    Amen
