God Has Reserved a Place for You

God Has Reserved a Place for You

God has reserved a place for you in his arms
Do you feel worn out? Beaten? At the end of your rope? Just know that God has reserved a place for you in his arms. I just love knowing that the downcasted will be treated with extra special care. For the weakest God has reserved a place closest to his heart. Doesn’t that comfort you?

You don’t need to handle everything. You don’t have to be strong and knowledgeable. You can come as you are. God will cherish you. You can snuggle in God’s arms.

Jesus is calling us:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. (Matthew 11:28-30, AMP)

Relief,
ease,
refreshment,
recreation,
blessed quiet
for your soul?

Yes, please. And that’s what God wants for you. God wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams.

Why do we then keep away from God’s arms? Why do we not accept God’s wonderful gifts? Sometimes we need to try everything else before surrendering our wills and egos to God. Sometimes we just are too busy to notice that there are a way out.

No matter what….whenever you’re ready, God will give you rest. The weaker you are, the closer you get to Jesus. Relief, rest, restoration, recreation just for you. Don’t hesitate. Come. Jesus is calling your name!

Gracious God,
We are sooo weary.
Thank you for calling our names.
Thank you for reserving spots for us.
Renew, restore, refresh!
Snuggle us in your arms!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: How often do you snuggle in God’s arms?

Be blessed, as you get refreshed, renewed, and restored in Jesus!

  1. following after you on Thought provoking Thursdays . . . I think I’ll take some time right now to renew, refresh, and restore my soul for a busy weekend. Thanks for giving me permission to stop for a moment.

    Be Blessed.

  2. I think I don’t snuggle in the Lord’s Arms enough and it is about time I did so more frequently. Thanks for this powerful reminder Mari-Anna. God bless you and have a great weekend.
