Do you ever wonder what Jesus is doing now after he has returned to his father? Is Jesus still in the picture? Yes, he is. He is still part of God’s plan. Jesus is still blessing us in mighty ways:

[Again, the former successive line of priests] was made up of many, because they were each prevented by death from continuing [perpetually in office]; But He holds His priesthood unchangeably, because He lives on forever. Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. (Hebrews 7:23-25, AMP)

Jesus lives his resurrected life forever. That’s why he is able to save everyone who approaches God through him. And even that’s not all. Jesus is praying for us. Jesus is interceding with God on our behalf. Jesus lives forever to be our advocate in the presence of the Lord.

And even that’s not all. God is the author of our faith and sustainer of our faith. He is set to provide the utmost in care for us. That’s why he also sent the Holy Spirit to us, to take care of us in a very personal level.

So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance. (Romans 8:26, AMP)

God has it all covered for us. He loves us so much that there is nothing that he would not do to help us along the way. We have not been left alone. We just need to lean on God and trust him. He will supply everything we need to make it home to heaven. Jesus is praying for us. The Holy Spirit is praying in us and for us. We are blessed indeed.

Thank you for providing everything for us.
Thank you for Jesus continually advocating for us.
Thank you for the Holy Spirit working in & through us.
Thank you for sustaining our faith.
You are wonderful.
