Embraced to Embrace

Embraced to Embrace

embraced to embrace

When was the last time you shout for joy? Do you know what it means to be truly happy? Don’t go through life without finding the source of happiness and true joy. Because that’s where you find not just happiness but yourself and your calling.

You made me so happy, God. I saw your work and I shouted for joy. How magnificent your work, God! How profound your thoughts! (Psalm 92: 4-5, MSG)

When we start seeing the things God has done, we will shout for joy.
This is what it means to be happy.

When we start tasting the sweetness of God’s words, we feel blessed.
This is what it means to grow in faith.

When we start feeling God’s presence in our lives, we are truly amazed.
This is what it means to be loved.

When we start touching the holy ground of Jesus, we are healed.
This is what it means to live in grace.

When we start hearing God’s voice, we are truly embraced by God.
This is what it means to be cared for.

When we are embraced by God, we find ourselves.
This is what it means to really live.

When we are filled with God’s grace, we are able to embrace others.
This is what it means to find your calling.

And all this means happiness in God’s love and grace.

Gracious God,
You are amazing!
Come and open our spiritual eyes to see you.
Come and help us to feel your loving presence.
Come and teach us your profound wisdom.
Come and heal us with your wild grace.
Come and open our ears to hear your gentle voice.
Come and equip us to embrace others as you’ve embraced us.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: Have you shouted for joy?

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you find yourself, your calling, and happiness in the Lord!
