Let God Know

Let God Know

Let God knowAre you in touch with your Heavenly Father through out the day? Do you let God know how you’re doing and how things are going for you? I hope you do. That’s the way of life for all the children of God. But have you ever thought God is eagerly waiting to hear from you?

I had never really thought of God’s side of this picture before this week. Our daughter caught a tummy bug and was home from school. Around lunch time I told her “We’d better text to your father [at work] to let him know how you’re doing. I bet he is anxious to know.” And I immediately thought of our Heavenly Father waiting to hear from us.

Because God cares for us more than we can ever understand.
Because he wants to know what’s going on in our lives.
Because he wants to help us along the way.

Therefore the Lord waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you,
And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.
For the Lord is a God of justice;
Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].
(Isaiah 30:18, AMP, emphasis added)

You are constantly on God’s heart and mind. He waits expectantly to hear from you. Why wouldn’t you let God know what’s going on in your life? Why wouldn’t you text him how your day is going? Why wouldn’t you call out to him and ask for his input for your dilemma?

God waits to hear from you. He longs to be gracious to you. Just let God know how you are and go from there. See yourself what God can do for you.

Gracious God,
Thank you for reminding me of your eagerness
to be in touch with me.
Thank you for always eagerly anticipating my visits with you.
Thank you for making me feel special and loved.
You are so amazingly wonderful.
Be praised forever and ever!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: Do you regularly let God know how you’re doing?

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you stay in touch with God through out the day!
