Do you know how to find your sweet spot in Jesus? You know, this is crucial for spiritual well-being. Only when we abide in Jesus, we are growing in grace and freedom. Religion does not make us happy but knowing and enjoying the heart of God does. People try to find their sweet spots in different places. But only making our sweet spot in Jesus makes a difference in our lives. That’s because Jesus gives life upon life and grace upon grace and joy upon joy.

Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
    will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
    he is my God, and I trust him.
(Psalm 91:1-2, NLT)

How to find your sweet spot in Jesus

Finding your sweet spot in Jesus is not difficult. It’s not magic nor it requires some secret information. God is waiting for us to come to him, spend time with him, embrace him. When we do this regularly, we get to know him better and better. We realise there is no other place on this green earth where we can feel God’s presence more tangibly. The more we abide in Jesus, the sweeter our sweet spot in Jesus becomes.

Our sweet spot in Jesus is simply the place where we meet with him. Where we interact with him. This can happen anywhere, anytime. The most important thing is the heart connection with God Almighty. What to do then? Put a standing date with Jesus on your calendar. Life is so much more difficult without God. Don’t cheat yourself by living without finding your sweet spot in Jesus. When you know God intimately, everything changes. Then you know the physical world is not all there is. You know that God’s reality is better than anything this world has to offer.

 

Gracious God,
You amaze me.
How wonderful that you want to interact with me.
Help me to make spending time with Jesus my top priority.
Thank you for wanting to be part of my life,
I want to be part of what you’re doing in this world.
Thank you for providing me my sweet spot in Jesus.
