Do Not Quit Praying

Do Not Quit Praying

Do not quit prayingThe world seems to be going crazy. Hence there is a lot of fear floating around. The best antidote I know is prayer. For real. I truly believe in the power of prayer because it works. In this post you can find some quotes to boost your moral in this crazy world. Whatever you do, do not quit praying. Because it invites God in our midst and miracles will follow. As Woodrow Kroll puts it “fervent prayers produce phenomenal results”.

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Phil. 4:6-7, MSG)

Prayer is not optional

Somehow some Christians think praying is optional. But it’s not. It’s our duty. The Bible urges us to pray over and over again. Constantly, without ceasing. How can we ignore it? Nowhere in the Bible it says we are to pray only when we feel like it. The Bible calls us to knock, to ask, to pray all the time. It’s our Christian duty to pray with thanksgiving. We have a prayer hearing God who loves to interact with us.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, NIV)

Do not quit praying

Whatever you do, do not quit praying. It’s always too early to quit praying. God hears our prayers and will act when the time is right. Also remember that time used in prayer is never wasted. So do not quit praying in any situation. Keep on praying whether you see results or not. The power of prayer is invisible but the results are tangible. Keep a prayer journal, write down even the small answers. Soon you start seeing how beautifully God is answering your prayers and moving in your life and beyond.

Whatever you do, do not quit praying.

Gracious God,
Thank you for the gift of prayer.
How blessed we are that we have this direct connection to you.
Help this world, Lord, to take care of the least fortunate.
Move mightily and create peace in the world.
Help us to believe in the power of prayer
and take our call to prayer seriously.
Enable us to spend more and more time in prayer.
May your will happen, nothing else, nothing more, nothing less.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Q4U: How much do you pray? Why/how/what do you pray?

Be blessed, my fellow pilgrim, as you keep on praying no matter what!
