Flowing Faith

God Is Faithful

God is faithfulOur God is so awesome. We are so blessed because our God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We can count on him to do what he has promised to do. God is faithful in all he does. Did you hear that? God is faithful in all he does, the Bible tells us so.

For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does.
(Ps. 33:4, NIV)

The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.
(Psalm 145:13, NIV)

God is faithful

God is faithful forever

God is not only faithful in all he does, he is also faithful forever and ever. We can trust him. Just like he was faithful to the saints gone before us he will be faithful to us. Each and everyone of us. God is not faithful to just some extra special Christians but to each and every Christian. Because we are all extra special in God’s eyes. He made us, he loves us, he saves us.

He is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
    he remains faithful forever.
(Psalm 146:6, NIV)

God is faithful

God is faithful to you

You are a child of God and that means that all the promises of the Bible are meant for you. Claim them. God is faithful to you. Always and forever and each day. If you were the only person who needed Jesus to go to the cross, Jesus would have done it just for you. God loves you so much that he gave his only Son to die for you so you could be united with him.

The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.
(1 Thessalonians 5:24, NIV)

God is faithful and he will not leave things undone. Whatever God has promised to do, he will do it. God will take care of you. Trust him. Truly. Write down what he has done for you and reread your notes every time you doubt. Give even those doubts to God and let him create something beautiful out of them. God is faithful. He will do it.

Gracious God,
You’re better and bigger and always more than we think.
Thank you for your faithfulness,
thank you for loving us unconditionally.
Help us to receive your love and grace.
We want to be faithful for you.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Yes! So thankful that He is not like us…that He is completely faithful and trustworthy. I don’t have to wonder if I’m foolish for trusting Him. He is worthy. Blessings!
