Room for Miracles

Room for Miracles

Room for miraclesIs there room for miracles in your life? I hope so. Otherwise, you’d be limiting God in your life. And, in some ways, I think faith itself is a miracle, anything with God is a miracle. Every breath we take is a gift, every blessing is a miracle. If we want more God, we need to make room for miracles, make room for God to show up. Because God is a miracle-worker. God is awe-inspiring from dawn to dusk.

He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes. (Deut.10:21, NIV)

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With people [as far as it depends on them] it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19: 26, AMP)

Room for miracles

How then do we make room for miracles? The most important thing is to keep on surrendering to Jesus. Thus we are open for the work of the Holy Spirit in us. It’s all about openness to God to move in our lives as he chooses. But, sure, we can also make more room for miracles. Less junk, more Jesus is a wonderful motto for anyone who wants to welcome all God has for them.

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:20-21, AMP)

God is able to do so much more than we can even hope or imagine. We just need to believe and receive all God has for us. God is all-powerful and our problems are possibilities for God. So let’s keep our hearts and minds open to Jesus and thus create more room for miracles in our lives. We don’t want to hinder God, right? So let’s get to it. Let’s create room for miracles.

Gracious God,
We want all you have for us.
So we create more room for miracles.
Come, Lord Jesus.
Come into our lives,
we surrender to you,
may only you reign in our hearts.
Come, Holy Spirit,
move mightily and miraculously.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
