Stop Living Small

Stop Living Small

Do you feel worthless? Are you living small because you feel you don’t deserve anything better? Or are you tired of trying to measure up to the standards in order to be accepted? I have good news for you. You are enough. Most likely you have along the way learned ten lies that keep you down. In order to eliminate the lies, it is time to learn the antidote to the lies: God’s love and grace

Mary DeMuth has written an incredible book Stop Living Small: Ten Truths Toward Your Significant Life. Mary’s authenticity and love for Jesus shine through it brightly and its message is valuable for us all. So I will be blogging through the book sharing the gems with you right here on flowingfaith.com.

Stop living small

There’s nothing wrong with living small when it’s your choice. But when you do it because you are afraid of being visible, you need God’s grace to set you free of the shackles of lies.

Mary encourages us “you are worth being loved, and his love makes your life worth living.” The whole book echoes the core message of the Bible: You are loved beyond measure. God loved you so much he sent his only son to redeem you.

But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8, AMP)

Often we understand this by the head but it takes time for us to embrace it with the heart. So we need mentors and Mary and her book do it brilliantly.

God’s love for you is personal and he shields you with his love. Do not settle for less. Stop living small. Start living large. God is with you. And he loves you more than you can even imagine.

Dear God,
Thank you for loving us as we are and not for what we do or do not do.
Help us to understand and receive your love.
Enable us to let go of the lies the enemy feeds us and show us how to embrace your truth about us instead.
Help us to remember we are your heirs and that you love us very much.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen

P.S.

Remember that God’s will is good, also for you. So seek Jesus to see his love for you and receive his grace to empower you for living large. Blessings upon blessings to you, my friend!

P.S.2

God willing, I will be blogging these lies/truths blogs more often than once a week. Stay tuned!
